The state-owned company Latvian Postal Service (Latvijas Pasts) will establish subsidiaries in Estonia and Lithuania to develop a network of parcel terminals, the company announced.

The subsidiaries will operate under the shared brand “Pasts” and ensure a presence throughout the Baltic region. A parcel locker network will also be rolled out in both neighbouring countries. This will allow online retailers to use this delivery service provider in all three Baltic countries.

Latvijas Pasts’ two subsidiaries, Pasts OÜ and Pasts UAB, plan to begin operations in the second half of 2026 by deploying their parcel lockers.

The subsidiaries will be responsible for establishing the parcel locker infrastructure and developing operations, as well as collaborating with e-commerce companies and logistics partners in the respective countries. In the first phase of development, the parcel locker network is expected to cover the major cities and populated areas of Estonia and Lithuania.

Ģirts Rudzītis, Chairman of the Board of Latvijas Pasts, noted: “This expansion is a direct response to the growth of international e-commerce, including in the Baltic states, which is increasing demand for convenient last-mile delivery solutions. By developing a network of parcel lockers in neighbouring countries, we are transforming from a national-scale company into an international player that is entering a growing market segment with fast and reliable deliveries.”
