Good news for travellers from Kazakhstan: Montenegro has introduced a temporary visa-free regime for Kazakh nationals during the upcoming travel season.

Kazakh citizens will be able to enter, transit, and stay in Montenegro for up to 30 days without a visa between May 1 and October 1, 2026, using a valid travel document, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The decision was officially approved by the Montenegrin government on April 17, 2026, opening a limited-time opportunity for easier travel to the Balkan country during the peak tourist season.
