Construction activities for the section from Kriva
Palanka to the tunnel between Bulgaria and North Macedonia, part of the
Corridor 8 railway line, are expected to begin in the summer. The public tender
for the selection of a contractor is expected to be announced in the next ten
days, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport of the Republic of North Macedonia, Aleksandar Nikoloski, told journalists, BTA reported.
A working meeting is being held in Skopje today with
representatives of the EC and the EU Delegation in Skopje, related to the work
and plans for the projects of the Pan-European Transport Corridor 8, connecting
the Adriatic and Black Seas through Albania, North Macedonia and Bulgaria.
