Switching codes and it’s the final day of the Perth Festival where the Class 3 Highland National Handicap Chase (14:05) tops the bill. The Christian Williams-trained Fever Dream attempts to defy an 8lbs rise in the ratings for scoring last time out.
There are also Jump meetings at Chepstow, Fontwell and Kilbeggan where Gordon Elliott saddles a number of runners as he bids to extend his lead over Willie Mullins in the Irish Trainers’ Championship. Cork and Doncaster stage turf fixtures on the level.
