The brother of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre has once again called on King Charles III (77) to meet during his state visit to the USA. “We need the King to demonstrate his unity with abuse survivors,” Sky Roberts told the BBC. He added: “All we are asking for is a ten-minute meeting so we can show him that we are real people with real feelings.”

The palace had rejected calls for a meeting, citing ongoing police investigations and possible legal repercussions, the BBC reported.

Charles and Camilla are expected in the USA

Roberts’ sister, Virginia Giuffre, had accused Charles’ younger brother, ex-Prince Andrew, of abusing her as a minor. Giuffre took her own life a year ago, on April 25, 2025.

Andrew (66), who was a close friend of US multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein for many years, always denied the allegations. Nevertheless, he agreed a settlement with Giuffre reportedly worth millions. In the wake of the scandal, he lost all his titles, offices and honors. Epstein, who moved in the highest circles, ran an abuse ring for years, to which numerous minors fell victim.

King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla (78), are expected to make a state visit to the USA lasting several days from Monday. The visit is considered a high-wire act for the monarch simply because of the unpredictable nature of US President Donald Trump. The Epstein scandal and Andrew’s former connection to the sex offender Epstein provide further pitfalls for the trip.
