The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has extended his congratulations to the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day. sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service



“Belarus is interested in establishing long-term partnerships with Freetown. I believe that despite the geographical distance, both countries possess significant potential for co-operation that should be developed systematically,” the Head of State noted.


The congratulatory message highlighted that Minsk is ready to jointly create a solid institutional foundation for the successful implementation of bilateral projects, particularly in the fields of industrial co-operation and agriculture.


The Belarusian leader expressed confidence that enhancing interstate relations and sharing experiences and technologies will yield tangible benefits for the people of both countries.


Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Julius Maada Bio good health and boundless energy, along with happiness and prosperity for the citizens of Sierra Leone.
