Lithuanian watchdog flags high reliance on single provider for e-signatures

There were 3.26 million electronic signature certificates valid in Lithuania at the end of 2025, up 7.1 percent year-on-year, according to a report from the national telecommunications regulator RRT. Certificates from Estonian company SK ID Solutions, which are used with the Smart ID app and SIMs, formed 91.9 percent of the Lithuanian market. SK’s share increases to 98.9 percent in the mobile signature segment.
