Amelie Lens took to social media to announce that her debut Albania EXHALE show was shut down by authorities early. Despite having permits at Sheshi Italia, the event was abruptly stopped, forcing her to cut the set short. She described the event as “extraordinary” before the shutdown and confirmed on social media that she would return.

It was reported due to issues with extending the authorized hours beyond midnight. Quite early for a dance show if you ask me! Amelie has brought her signature EXHALE techno tour around the world and has upcoming stops at Tomorrowland, Airbeat One Festival, Fabrique Milan, AMENTAL in Mexico, Nordstern Basel in Switzerland, and many more this summer. EXHALE focuses on community, showcasing upcoming talent via EXHALE Records.

It has been 10 years since her debut EP EXHALE. Lens had already built a growing reputation as one of the most formidable selectors on the underground. In 2016, she introduced her debut three-track EP on Italian imprint Lyase Recordings, an early statement that captured the intensity of Belgium’s underground scene

Amelie recently dropped a new hypnotic single, ‘Whatever You Do’. The track leans into everything she does best clean, driving techno with just enough emotion layered in to keep things interesting.
