Tipperary Town was buzzing with excitement and determination as schools from across Munster gathered for the highly anticipated Munster final of Ireland’s Fittest School competition on Thursday this week.
Students from Tipperary, Cork, and Waterford brought huge energy, fierce focus, and an inspiring sense of teamwork to every challenge they faced.
Supported by fruit importer Fyffes and tracked online, the purpose of the competition, launched in December and now in its fifth year, is to promote the importance of exercise, fitness and healthy eating amongst young people.

After an intense and closely fought contest, congratulations go to Our Lady of Mercy Senior Primary School, Waterford, who claimed the Munster title with a standout performance.
