Sears, a wearable artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic monitoring company, announced on the 6th that it has signed a three-year ‘mobicare device distribution contract worth at least 22 billion won with One Health, the digital healthcare subsidiary of Pure Health, the largest healthcare group in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It is conditional to supply at least 105,000 units over three years, including the initial volume of MobiCare devices. “This contract is the first business to be developed within the Pure Health ecosystem, the largest medical group in the Middle East with a market capitalization of about 8 trillion won and 56,000 people,” the company said. “It is significant that Sears is the first starting point for entering this network.”

Based on this MobiCare contract, Sears plans to enter the diagnostic business in the Middle East market and then expand to the inpatient monitoring platform “Think.”

A Sears official said, “This year is the first year of our business expansion to neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia and Oman, starting with the launch of Vietnam earlier this month and exporting MobiCare to the UAE. We will continue to expand our stable profit structure along with external growth based on the structure of gradually expanding to think after entering the market based on the MobiCare diagnostic business.”
