The number of Azerbaijani-born servicemen who lost their lives in Russia’s war against Ukraine continues to increase.

    Modern.az reports that 8 more Azerbaijani-born servicemen and Azerbaijani citizens who participated in battles as part of the Russian army at various times have been killed.

    The other deceased persons are:

    Chiriyev Sadreddin Mehman oglu – born on September 21, 1992. Lived in Tikhvin, Leningrad Oblast.

    Asadov Eltun Adil oglu – born on August 10, 1994. Lived in Noyabrsk, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, served in the 69th Guards Motor Rifle Division.

    Mammadov Farid Farizkhan oglu – born on January 20, 1991. Lived in Pavlovsk, Voronezh Oblast.

    Nuriyev Eldar Nahmat oglu – born on November 1, 1970. Lived in Irkutsk, served in the 137th Assault Brigade.

    Abdullayev Ilyas Amin oglu – born on November 8, 1984. Lived in Moscow.

    Talibov Rafael Sattar oglu – born on July 8, 1977. Born in Aleksandrovskoye village, Stavropol Krai, served in the 7th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade.

    Osmanov Bayram Abdulla oglu – born on March 12, 1994. Lived in Kurskaya village, Stavropol Krai.

    Sadigov Teymur Azizulla oglu – citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Signed a 1-year military contract with the Russian Army.

    It should be noted that hundreds of Azerbaijanis have lost their lives since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. Among them are also individuals with Azerbaijani citizenship.
