United Local defeated Poland on the road Monday evening in a 4-3 comeback victory.
The Bulldogs jumped on top in the bottom of the first with a 2-0 lead before the Eagles scored one in the second.
Poland added one more and led 3-1 heading into the top of the sixth.
But, the Eagles responded in the sixth adding a run and cut the lead to one.
In the top seventh United’s Madison Aergerter hit a 2 RBI single out to center field allowing the go-ahead run to score.
Aegerter pitched all seven innings, gave up seven hits and struck out three in the win.
United end their season 12-0 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference and 16-6 on the season.
They are the 11-seed in the tournament and will host Waynedale on Wednesday, May 13 at 5 p.m.
