During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on Iran-Norway bilateral relations, the ongoing war imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran along with its security and economic consequences, and the latest status of the Islamabad negotiation process.

Iran’s Foreign Minister identified the U.S. side’s excessive demands and threatening, provocative rhetoric, as well as its lack of goodwill and dishonesty, as the main obstacles to a definitive end to the war and the achievement of a potential agreement.

Referring to Iran’s consultations to formulate executive arrangements aimed at strengthening and facilitating safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law, Iran’s Foreign Minister added: As a coastal state of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran is currently consulting and deliberating to develop regulations related to the arrangements concerning the Strait of Hormuz in line with international law.
