AUSTIN — The Texas basketball team added some much-needed depth to its backcourt by signing 6-2 Lithuanian guard Mantas Laurencikas on Thursday.
The 19-year-old played for his countryland in FIBA competition the past four summers and currently plays for AS Monaco Basket in the top-tier French league Betclic Elite. During the 2025-26 season, Laurencikas averaged 13.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists and connected on 45.4% of his shots.
