The Russian retail chain Modi has opened its first store in Belarus — in the capital’s Palazzo shopping center.

It sells goods for home, accessories, gifts. The company positions itself as a brand of emotional goods.
The store area is about 170 sq.m, with about 2000 products presented, New Retail reports.
“The new store in Minsk will not be the only one: discussions are already underway on a roadmap for the network’s development in the republic. In the future, our goal is to make Modi stores accessible to residents of all major cities in Belarus,” noted Svetlana Semyonova, the retailer’s partner in Belarus.
