Minister of Health, Neophytos Charalambides, presented Cyprus’ experience and initiatives in cancer prevention and treatment at the Commonwealth Health Coordination Forum held on Saturday in Geneva.
According to a press release by the Ministry of Health, cancer policy was the main topic of discussion at the forum.
“During the Forum, the Minister intervened in two thematic sessions focusing on the transition from scientific evidence to the implementation of National Cancer Control Plans, as well as the financing of cancer care,” the press release reads.
It adds that the Minister “presented the experience and initiatives of the Republic of Cyprus in the field of cancer prevention and treatment, while exchanging views with other participants on best practices and modern approaches to the development and implementation of health policies.”
