    Spanish grocery retailer Grupo DIA reported 11.1% year-on-year sales growth, to €1.41bln, in its first quarter of 2026. At the end of March, DIA was operating 2,373 supermarkets in Spain. Dia-branded products and fresh produce both saw a 14% sales increase, while fresh-product sales also grew by 14% during the quarter.
