Albanian students from RMV and the region arrive, protest begins in Skopje

The protest of Albanian students in Skopje, North Macedonia, started a few minutes late, as many other Albanian students from the country and the region were expected to arrive.
A large number of protesters, especially students, have already gathered in front of the Stone Bridge in Skopje.
Students from Kosovo and Albania have also joined the protest.
The protest began with the singing of the Albanian national anthem and chants of “KLA”, as the protesters began the march in an organized manner.
Students are protesting to demand permission to hold the exam in the Albanian language, as it enjoys official status in the country.
Organizers have warned of massive participation, emphasizing that protecting the right to use the Albanian language in institutions and professional processes is a matter of dignity and equality.
