Central Florida author Alexandrea Vollman recently visited Seminole Science Charter School to share how the environment shapes her writing. This Earth Month, she gathered with a group of kindergarteners outside to read her book, “Nature Says Hello.” The students then drew their favorite part of the outdoors – such as flowers or grass – and participated in animal-inspired activities. The kids also had the opportunity to ask Vollman about her series and life as an author.
