Poland, after summing up the voting results at the Eurovision 2026 international song contest, should reconsider relations with Ukraine. This was stated by the vice-chairman of the Polish opposition party “Law and Justice” Tobias Bohenski on the radio station RMF24.

“If our singer gets the maximum number of points from Germans and Austrians for her song, and then suddenly it turns out that she gets zero points from Ukraine and Israel, then, in my opinion, this is a reason to reconsider the relationship between the countries,” he said.

Bohensky added that “this is a scandal that should make many people think.”

“It was a purely political vote,” said the vice—chairman of the party.

His indignation was supported by the politician from “Law and Justice” Przemyslaw Czarnek. He believes that Ukraine should appreciate the support provided by Poland more.

“If I were a Ukrainian, I would appreciate Poland’s help in preserving the independence of my native country,” he concluded.

As reported by EADaily, the winner of the last international song contest “Eurovision-2026” was the singer representing Bulgaria Darina Yotova (DARA). She scored 516 points in the final of the competition. The second place was taken by the representative of Israel Noam Bettan (343 points). The third place in the voting went to Alexandra Capitanescu from Romania (296 points).

The representative of Poland Alicja (Alicia Shemplinska) with a score of 150 points took 12th place.
