Hi everyone,
Need advice! Since this spring, a pile of dark dirt/debris keeps appearing on my carpet under this heating pipe. No matter how hard I vacuum, it returns every 2-3 days. I’ve also seen ants coming from the gap.

You should inform your landlord, it’s his responsibility.

Well, close the hole, so the ants won’t bring any more excavated debris.
Yea the ants will always want to shovel material out of their runways of course. And this corner is the spot as it seems.
Inform the landlord he needs to send someone out. It’ll be most likely some opening up the walls a little
