Luxembourg police are requesting public assistance to identify the drivers involved in separate hit-and-run incidents in Mamer and Koerich, involving a car colliding with a minibus and another striking a lamppost, respectively.
Luxembourg police are appealing for witnesses in connection with two separate hit-and-run incidents in the Mamer and Koerich.
Bus collision in Mamer
The first occurred on 3 May at around 4pm at the intersection of Rue de Rome and Rue de Lisbonne in Mamer. A car collided with a minibus as the bus was backing into Rue de Rome, but the driver of the car failed to stop and drove away without checking for damage. Police are looking for a medium-sized black car with white licence plates.
Car crashes into lamppost
The second incident took place overnight between 1 and 2 May, when a car struck and damaged a lamppost on Rue de Windhof in Koerich before the driver also fled the scene. Police believe a Peugeot with French licence plates may be involved.
