Temperatures Set to Climb Through Weekend

    Skies across the country will be partly cloudy on Friday before turning increasingly overcast at night.

    Parts of Gangwon Province are expected to receive up to 40 millimeters of rain through early morning. 

    Friday’s morning lows will range from 12 to 17 degrees Celsius, while afternoon highs will peak between 17 and 27 degrees. 

    In Seoul, morning temperatures will dip to around 14 degrees before warming up to 26 degrees in the afternoon.

    Temperatures are expected to climb further during the weekend, with Seoul forecast to reach 30 degrees on Monday. 

    Waves are expected to reach 2 to 4 meters in waters off the East Sea and around Jeju Island, while Jeju is also forecast to see light rain through Saturday.
