We rescued Angel straight off a truck headed to slaughter in South Korea with our partner Jindo Love Rescue in 2019. While she’s been loved in our care, she’s been waiting this whole time for a forever home of her own.

When Angel was rescued, she was among more than two dozen terrified dogs who were crammed into cages on the truck.

Thankfully, we were able to rescue them all, and while most of them have found homes, Angel is still waiting.

She was terribly, and understandably, traumatized when she was saved. We don’t know exactly what happened to her before that day, but we know it wasn’t good. She was crippled with fear and anxiety and spent a lot of time at our training facility getting special attention to help her work through her fear and mistrust of people.

She’s come so far since then, and we still hope to find her the perfect home where she can live the rest of her days as a beloved family member. We know a patient and experienced adoptive family with another dog who could help show her the ropes and introduce her to her new life would be perfect.

She’s waited so long and worked so hard to make the progress she has, and she deserves all the love and safety in the world with a family of her own.

    How to Adopt

If you’re interested in adopting Angel, you can learn more about adopting and send Jindo Love Rescue a message on Facebook to start the application process.

Even if you can’t adopt, you can still help by sharing her story and supporting our rescue efforts in South Korea by making a donation and spreading the word about our ongoing need for flight volunteers to courier dogs to new homes in the U.S. and Canada.
