Iran US War LIVE: US President Donald Trump, while speaking at the White House on Friday said, Iran is “dying to make a deal” and that Tehran “cannot have nuclear weapons.” The Republican leader added, “But we hit them hard and we had no choice because Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. They cannot have it.”
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Pakistan has done an “admirable job” as primary interlocutor during Iran negotiations. “The primary interlocutor on this has been Pakistan and they’ve done an admirable job. We’ve been working with them on all of this and that will remain the case,” Rubio said.

Meanwhile, the United States on May 22 indicated that “slight progress” in talks with Iran has been achieved, even as tensions remain over nuclear material, regional conflict and control of key waterways. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that he doesn’t want to exaggerate but there had been “a little bit of movement and that’s good.”
