An insane Finals Day came to a conclusion with an all out battle between 2019 World Champ Italo Ferreira and 2021 World Title contender Morgan Cibilic. Cibilic pushed Ferreira with an excellent 8.80 to bring out his fiery forehand and post an 8.17 before finding an opportunity to showcase his elite progression with a 9.33. The ocean didn’t provide any last-second drama as Cibilic couldn’t scratch into a wave and the horn sounded to Ferreira’s 11th CT win and the new No. 1.
