X2M launches smart water meter in Korea with integrated connectivity platform

Australian technology company X2M Connect said it has launched what it claimed was South Korea’s first AI-enabled separable integrated smart water meter, following the receipt of a manufacturing licence for the product in the country. The company said the device was developed after being engaged by South Korea’s largest water manager to address connectivity issues affecting residential water meters and to reduce the costs associated with water network digitisation.
