Cloudy skies will give way to heavy rain in the southernmost part of Jeju Island and coastal areas south of the Korean Peninsula late Monday.
Downpours will spread nationwide Tuesday, with up to 300 millimeters of precipitation expected on Jeju and up to 200 millimeters in the southern coastal areas of South Gyeongsang Province through Wednesday.
Seoul and the surrounding areas will likely see rainfall ranging between 30 and 100 millimeters, with up to 80 millimeters expected in Daegu, Gangwon Province and the Chungcheong provinces.
Tuesday morning lows will range between 17 and 21 degrees Celsius, about two to five degrees higher than Monday’s, with Seoul posting a low of 21 degrees.
Afternoon highs will peak between 21 and 25 degrees, three to five degrees higher than the previous day.
