South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff says North Korea fired an unidentified projectile toward the Yellow Sea on Tuesday.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said it is analyzing the specifications and range of the projectile.
If the projectile is confirmed to be a ballistic missile, it will be the country’s first such launch in 37 days and its eighth this year.
