Business organisations and labour experts will meet in Sofia on 27 May for a roundtable discussion on labour migration and the hiring of non-EU workers amid growing labour shortages in Bulgaria.
The event is being organised by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Centre for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development Bulgaria and will take place at the Grand Hotel Sofia as well as online via Zoom.
Participants are expected to discuss sustainable approaches to attracting foreign labour and integrating third-country nationals into the Bulgarian labour market.
The organisers will also present a report examining the working environment for non-EU citizens in Bulgaria, alongside a practical handbook for employers on recruitment procedures and workforce integration.
