Azerbaijan’s envoy holds talks at Russian Defence Ministry

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia, Rahman Mustafayev, held a meeting with Russia’s Deputy Minister of Defence, Vasily Osmakov, to discuss matters of mutual interest, according to a statement from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia.

The meeting took place at the Russian Ministry of Defence and was initiated by the Russian side, the embassy noted in its statement cited by local media.

“Today, at the initiative of the Russian side, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation between Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia, Rahman Mustafayev, and Russia’s Deputy Minister of Defence, Vasily Osmakov. During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed,” the statement said.
