LONE STAR, Texas (KLTV) – A Lone Star man is behind bars Saturday after police said he used artificial intelligence, or AI, to create lifelike images of sexual abuse material involving children.
Jesus Aleman Jr., 40, was held Saturday at the Morris County Jail on a warrant charging him with possession of child pornography, according to police.

He was arrested by multiple state and federal agencies after Lone Star police received a tip from the North Texas Crimes Against Children Task Force about a person in the area using Grok, an AI chatbot created by Elon Musk’s SpaceXAI, to create child pornography images, police said.
Aleman admitted to having a cell phone with child pornography at his home, and officers seized the device during the execution of a search warrant, police said.
Officers took the phone to the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s electronic forensics lab to examine the device, finding more than 1,000 images of illegal material, according to police.
Due to Aleman’s previous 2015 conviction for possessing child pornography, the case was forwarded to the U.S. attorney’s office for prosecution.
The Texas Public Sex Offender Website lists Aleman as a registered sex offender with a “moderate” risk level. The site shows he must register annually for the rest of his life.
He was arrested Friday as part of Operation Soteria Shield, a coordinated law enforcement effort jointly managed by the FBI’s Dallas Division and several North and East Texas police departments.
According to a FBI press release, the operation netted the arrests of 276 people and the rescue of 89 children.
Agencies involved in Aleman’s arrest included Lone Star police, Mount Pleasant police, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the Ore City Police Department, the Hawk Cove Police Department and FBI agents.
