AND THERE ARE THINGS THAT FOLKS CAN BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS, MULTIPLE HEALTHY HABITS. THAT INCLUDES EXERCISE, A HEALTHY DIET, COGNITIVE AND SOCIAL CHALLENGE, ALL THOSE THINGS THAT PEOPLE MAY BE ASSUMED THAT THEY WERE HELPING THEM PROTECT THEIR LONG TERM BRAIN HEALTH, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED BY THIS STUDY. I THINK YOUR VIEWERS, EVERYONE KNOWS SOMEONE IN THEIR FAMILY OR A LOVED ONE THAT HAS BEEN IMPACTED BY THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE. AND JUST TO SHARE SOME FIGURES WITH YOU RIGHT NOW, THERE ARE OVER 80,000 PEOPLE IN THE STATE OF KENTUCKY THAT HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER’S. AND WHAT THAT ALSO MEANS IS THERE’S 190,000 CAREGIVERS THAT ARE PROVIDING SUPPORT TO THOSE WITH ALZHEIMER’S. AND SO IT TAKES A MENTAL AND PHYSICAL TOLL ON THEM.
