Global private markets firm EQT and Google Cloud announced a new partnership to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across more than 300 EQT portfolio companies worldwide.

Under the agreement, EQT portfolio companies will gain streamlined access to Google Cloud’s AI technology, infrastructure, and expertise to help them build and deploy AI agents more quickly across their organizations. The offering includes access to Google Cloud’s AI stack, including the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Gemini models, AI architecture, cybersecurity capabilities from Mandiant and Wiz, as well as sovereign cloud and AI solutions designed to address data residency and governance requirements.

The partnership also provides EQT and its portfolio companies with early access to select future Google Cloud AI products, enabling faster prototyping and testing of emerging technologies. In addition, Google’s forward-deployed engineers will work closely with EQT’s internal AI transformation team to help implement these technologies securely and efficiently throughout the portfolio.

EQT’s portfolio companies will also gain access to Google Cloud’s broader partner ecosystem, including more than 330,000 trained Google AI experts from leading consulting and professional services firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, HCLTech, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, PwC, and Tata Consultancy Services.

EQT has spent more than a decade building internal AI and data capabilities as part of its investment and value creation strategy, helping portfolio companies apply AI across operations, product development, and customer engagement. The new collaboration is expected to further accelerate these efforts through access to Google Cloud’s AI models, infrastructure, and technical expertise.

The partnership also creates additional commercial opportunities for software companies within EQT’s portfolio. These businesses will benefit from streamlined onboarding to Google Cloud Marketplace and expanded enterprise sales opportunities through Google Cloud’s co-sell programs.

Among the EQT portfolio companies already using Google Cloud AI are Believe, Epidemic Sound, Keywords Studios, and Zooplus.
