During the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, the United States and Mexico, Belgian-Moroccan DJ Lady S will take to the stage at Flushing Meadows Park in New York. Sharing the lineup with artists such as Busta Rhymes, Nas and Carnival, she is set to perform before and after matches. Just weeks before the tournament kicks off, Sahira Chadouli, as she is known offstage, told Belgian outlet GVA that she would be representing both of her countries of origin: Belgium and Morocco.

The artist is scheduled to perform after the Morocco-Brazil match on Sunday, June 14. «I would have loved to play during the Red Devils’ match, but I’ll already be back in Antwerp by then. I support both teams equally: Morocco and the Red Devils,» she said.

Binational artists feature prominently in Lady S’s playlist. Stromae’s «Alors on danse» remains «a must», while «Yama» by Belgian-Moroccan rapper Dystinct is another staple. «That song perfectly represents both sides of my background,» she said.

Focused on creating a festive atmosphere, Lady S describes her performance as «a festival concert». Her sets combine timeless crowd-pleasers with current hits in an effort to appeal to audiences «young and old alike».

«After the match, I have an hour to get people dancing. Whether their team has won or not, I want everyone to leave in a good mood,» she said, stressing that «the most important thing is for supporters to have fun together».

Lady S has been building a career in music for nearly 25 years, performing on stages around the world. Immersed in music from an early age, she grew up in a family with strong ties to the industry: her father worked for Radio 2 and Radio Donna (now MNM), her brother performed as a DJ in various clubs, and her uncle played in a Moroccan band.
