Goce Sedloski, the coach of North Macedonia, appeared at a press conference before the friendly match with Turkey.
“Turkey is an exceptionally high-quality national team with players who perform at the highest European levels. For us, this is another important test in the team-building process. We don’t have much time to work, but I am pleased with the attitude and commitment of the players. I want us to present ourselves in an even better light and show that we can face such opponents on an equal footing.”
“We have a lot of new players in the squad, including seven from the domestic championship. It is important that everyone feels what it means to play for the national team and gradually adapt to the system. The result is important, but it is even more important to build a game and harmony,” said Sedloski.
