President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 181 On Draft International Treaty today. The document approves a draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Ghana on visa-free travel on diplomatic and official passports as a basis for negotiations, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service.



    According to the decree, citizens of Belarus and Ghana who hold diplomatic and official passports are exempt from the need to obtain visas for entry, stay, exit and transit if the duration of their stay in the territory of the host country does not exceed 30 days from the date of entry. The total length of stay should not exceed 90 days during a calendar year.


    The agreement is aimed at developing and strengthening co-operation between Belarus and Ghana, creating favourable conditions for intensifying contacts between government authorities of the two countries.


    Belarus’ Foreign Ministry is authorised to conduct negotiations on the draft international agreement and sign it.
