Wormwood, one of Sweden’s most distinctive and internationally acclaimed metal bands, return with their new EP, Å, a work that further cements the band’s position as one of the most innovative forces in modern extreme metal.
The band has released the following statement:
“The EP contains two long tracks in classic Wormwood fashion, while also introducing new elements that have found their way into the sound as we continue to evolve as a band.
Å is a concept EP built around an idea that has been growing for some time, but never quite belonged on any previous – or upcoming – full-length album. It is a contemporary portrayal told through two filthy stories, inspired by the more marginalized circles of Stockholm. In other words, this is as raw, real and authentic as we can get to reality through music.
