In an unexpected turn of events, Skechers is set to bring its comfort shoe technology to mattresses through a new deal with Serta.
Called the “Skechers Collection, powered by Serta Innovation,” the line combines three hallmark features inspired by the shoe brand’s most popular footwear technology including CozyFit for adaptive, body-conforming comfort; Max Cushioning for enhanced pressure relief and plush support; and Arch Fit for targeted alignment and ergonomic stability.
Skechers noted that its new mattress collection is “built to appeal to a broad range of consumers seeking better sleep as part of an active, modern lifestyle.” The collection will be available at accessible premium price points with estimated queen mattress prices ranging from $699 to $1,399.
Steve Mandel, vice president of global brand licensing at Skechers USA, said in a statement that the company is optimistic about extending the brand into the sleep category with a partner that shares its commitment to comfort and innovation.
“Serta brings deep category expertise and a strong retail footprint, making them an ideal partner to translate our comfort technologies into a compelling mattress offering,” Mandel noted.

This is the latest project from Skechers since it officially went private in September following a May 2025 announcement that the third largest footwear company in the world inked a $9 billion go-private deal with Brazilian private equity firm 3G Capital — the biggest shoe buyout in history.
The Skechers mattress collection will be showcased across the hall from the Serta showroom during the Las Vegas Furniture Market next month, with retail availability to follow through select partners nationwide.
