KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Royals fans heading to Kauffman Stadium this week, give yourself extra time. With both Royals and FIFA World Cup fans sharing Truman Sports Complex, parking will be limited and some lots will not be available.
The Kansas City Royals host the St. Louis Cardinals for three games: June 18 at 6:40 p.m., June 19 at 7:15 p.m. and June 21 at 1:10 p.m. A FIFA World Cup match, Ecuador vs. Curaçao, is scheduled for June 20 at 7 p.m. at Kansas City Stadium.
The Royals say parking availability at Truman Sports Complex will vary based on the event taking place each day.
Here’s what fans need to know:
- Lots E and D will not be accessible
- Sections of Lots G, F and C will have limited access
- The tailgate lot has moved from Lot N to Lot L
- Fans are encouraged to arrive early and purchase parking in advance
