NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) – Those with one Newburgh business which was hit by Sunday’s tornadoes say they’re recovering well.
Flea Market Frenzy reopened today, three days after the business sustained significant damage to the front of its building.
Inside, multiple windows were broken. Half of an aisle remains blocked off from customers because of debris and broken parts of the ceiling.
The owners said they were surprised but grateful to reopen so quickly, and they credit the support from their vendors.
“I think about all of (the vendors) have reached out at some point to either come help sweep up all the broken glass and debris and stuff or inside,” Eli Dayton said. “It’s been amazing how good our vendors are. We have some of the greatest vendors; I can’t say enough about them.”
The owners said contractors have assessed the damage and started working on a construction plan, but they said there is no timeline yet.
