A Danish tourist was lost for words after taking a look inside a Robert Irwin calendar while visiting Australia Zoo.

Nicolai and her partner Lenka, who are on a gap year in Australia, stopped by the zoo on their way to Brisbane last week.

While at the gift shop, Nicolai noticed the calendar on the shelves and, after taking a look, she was surprised to find it featured photos from the wildlife warrior’s “controversial” underwear campaign with Bonds.

Nicolai couldn’t help but giggle at the sight of the raunchy pictures of Robert in just his underwear.

“We were like, ‘Oh is that a calendar of the photos he took, because he takes pictures of the wildlife?'” Nicolai said in a video before showing the photos to the camera.

Robert, 22, left Australia shocked when the photos were released nationwide late last year.

Now, it appears the photos continue to have the same reaction among fans.

Nicolai added that she will be taking one home.

The travelling couple weren’t the only one impressed by the unexpected find.

“Anything to save wildlife,” one joked.

“I have one and I’m obsessed with it,” another wrote.

“They know EXACTLY what they are doing,” a third added.

“Fantastic, I’ll take 14 of them right now,” someone else said.

Elsewhere on TikTok, dozens of other fans were also surprised after seeing what’s inside the calendar for the first time.

In December, Robert’s sister Bindi was speechless when she first saw his Bonds underwear ad.

Robert told The Apple and The Tree podcast that he sent the adverts to his family first to see what they thought.

“It took a minute before you even said anything,” he said, referring to his sister not knowing what to say.

But Bindi told Robert that she was “very proud” of him for having the confidence to do an ad like that at just 21 years old.

Robert revealed that Bonds approached him about the campaign under the guise of “celebrating Aussie wildlife”.

Considering he’s been championing this since he could walk, the youngest in the Irwin clan said it was a no-brainer to sign up for it.

It’s also why Robert was joined in the adverts by a spider and a snake on his body.

While it might have caused a bit of discomfort in his family group chat, he said it’s ultimately been a massive win.
