    JAPAN saw off Italy in Tokyo despite head coach Eddie Jones being absent through suspension.
    Jones was barred from Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium while serving the final game of a four-match ban imposed by the Japan Rugby Football Union for verbally abusing officials during a tour of Australia earlier this year. Forwards coach Neal Hatley took charge on the day and watched the Brave Blossoms deliver a composed and physical performance in front of more than 20,000 fans.
