USA Sports will present live coverage of all regular season matches, beginning Aug. 22 as England’s World Cup captain Harry Kane and defending champion Bayern Munich face runners-up Borussia Dortmund in the “Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup”.

Fandango, which will will live-stream 275 Bundesliga matches per season, is looking at soccer as conduit toward building a live sports and “omni-platform” media platform on top of its legacy movie-ticket, transactional VOD business.
Fandango reportedly plans to leverage its existing database of millions of ticket buyers and movie streamers to market live events and scale its user base rapidly.
