In Vilnius and Kaunas, employees and visitors were evacuated from several facilities following a series of anonymous reports of alleged bomb threats.

The high-tech company Teltonika, one of the office buildings, and emergency medical facilities in both cities received threats via email.

Police searched all the specified locations but found no explosive devices. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the reports were false.

The Lithuanian police are currently gathering evidence to launch a pre-trial investigation into the knowingly false reporting of a threat to public safety.
