MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Monroe Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee is hosting the first of six “AI Lunch & Learn” event sessions on July 23.

The event will teach business owners and managers across northeast Louisiana practical ways to use AI in their businesses. The sessions will emphasize saving time, improving productivity and simplifying routine work.

“Many small businesses are interested in AI, but they need examples that connect directly to the work they are already doing,” said Hunter McFadden, CEO of GreenQube and Chair of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee.

“This session will show participants where AI can reduce repetitive tasks, improve efficiency and create more time for the work that requires human judgement and relationships.”

The July session is sponsored by Uniti Fiber and is part of a six-session series that will run through Nov. 19.

Each session is designed to be a stand-alone event and participants do not need to attend earlier sessions. Separate registration is required for each event; seating is limited to 30 participants.

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will take place inside Monroe’s Restaurant at 1301 North 19th Street.

Registration is available through the Monroe Chamber of Commerce event calendar.
