LJUBLJANA (Slovenia) – Türkiye bounced back from two group stage losses to reach the Quarter-Finals of the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2026 along with the four undefeated group winners.

Top Performers
Croatia secured their spot in the top eight by using the three-ball to beat Czechia 93-69 in their first summer back in Division A. The promoted side drained 14 triples including Dino Subasic hitting 4 of them for a game-high 32 points. He also chipped in 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals for the winners.
France did not have an easy time with Poland, trailing by 8 points with 3 minutes to go in the third quarter. But they put the game away with a 12-3 fourth quarter run. Mohamed Diakite tallied 4 of his team-high 22 points in the decisive stretch and he added 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks in the 90-79 victory.
Slovenia had little problem with Belgium as the hosts remained perfect with a convincing 88-61 victory. Mark Padjen paced the winners with 20 points while also dishing out 5 assists and contributing 1 rebound, 2 steals and 1 block as well.
Türkiye faced a major challenge in battling back from two losses to finish the group stage but battled past Lithuania 67-61 to book a spot in the final eight. Kaan Onat did some of everything for the winners with 23 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals.
Greece were considered the underdogs from the placement in the group stage, finishing third in Group C while Israel were second in Group D. That didn’t bother the Greeks, who led for 38:30 minutes in a 79-66 victory. Andreas Patrikis poured in 22 points while shooting 73 percent from the field to go with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
