[LINN COUNTY, Iowa] — The Linn County Planning and Zoning Commission is meeting to discuss allowing certain data centers to support nuclear energy facilities.

The discussions are part of a larger review that began when the Linn County Board of Supervisors approved an 18-month moratorium on new rezoning applications for data centers. The moratorium affects rezoning applications for data center developments in the county.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Linn County Public Service Center. The discussion about data centers supporting nuclear facilities will continue Monday, Aug. 17.
