Hoteliers are asking residents to reduce trips by private car as one of the measures to address the overcrowding that the Balearic Islands are suffering.

This is what the president of the Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca (FEHM), María Frontera, has expressed, demanding responsibility from the citizens of the islands. "In the Balearic Islands there is one car per inhabitant, while the Europeans who visit us in their countries have one car per family. We are the first who have to make a change of chip and consider a reflection"
