NEW SWEDEN, Maine (WAGM) – The family of missing teenager Stefanie Damron is organizing a public ground search this Saturday and is asking community members to help.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the ball field behind Northstar Variety in New Sweden at 8 a.m. The search is set to begin at 9 a.m.
About Stefanie’s disappearance
Damron was 13 years old when she disappeared Sept. 23, 2024. She was last seen walking into the woods near her home on West Road in New Sweden.
Her disappearance sparked one of the largest search efforts in Aroostook County.
A reward of up to $15,000 is being offered for information leading to Damron’s safe return.
